Tucson, AZ - On April 7, 2014, at approximately 1:50 a.m., Foothills District deputies responded to the Circle K, located at 16054 North Oracle Road, reference a strong armed robbery. When deputies arrived, they learned the clerk was getting ready to mop the floor, when three men walked into the store and went behind the counter. The suspects had white plastic bags that they filled with cartons of cigarettes and bottles of liquor. One of the suspects held the store clerk in a corner as the other two continued to take items. When the clerk tried to move, the suspect physically held her back and told her to stay put. The suspects are described as: Suspect 1 • Approximately 5' 6 tall • 150-155 pounds • Short black hair • Wearing dark jeans and a red shirt • Colorado Rockies jacket with black and purple sleeves • Black plastic rimmed glasses • Black gloves Suspect 2 • Approximately 6' 0 tall • Dark colored jeans and a black shirt • Gray sneakers • Wearing a white or light gray scarf covering his face Suspect 3 • Approximately 6' 0 tall • Gray pants • Wearing a black hooded jacket with a scarf covering his face The suspects left the store on foot and headed south after robbing the store. The clerk was not injured during the incident. The Sheriff's Department Robbery/Assault Unit responded and took over the investigation.
