Miami Gardens, FL - Miami Gardens, FL - A 15-year-old subject was taken into custody in Miami Gardens by numerous police officers after a high-speed chase that lasted nearly an hour and began in the Homestead area. During the chase, the suspect, later identified by Miami-Dade Police as Alain Moss, was involved in several other collisions, as he led police on a winding path into Broward County before turning back into Miami-Dade where he was finally taken into custody.
Moss drove a white Chevrolet Tahoe SUV that was reportedly stolen. Miami-Dade Police had tried to pull him over in Homestead, at around 12:45 p.m., but the driver refused to stop. The driver jumped on the Palmetto Expressway and traveled northbound, approaching Hialeah. With no regard to other drivers and pedestrians, the subject made it as far north into Broward County via Interstate 95, as he continued to evade officials.At around 1:30 p.m., Moss got off the Interstate at Griffin Road, made a U-turn and returned back to Miami-Dade County. "I was worried about something, especially the cops
were passing by so, you know, it was crazy," said Travis Washington.
