A man jumped down a chairlift passing above a tiger enclosure at a zoo in central China's Henan Province on Saturday.
He then fell onto a protecting net above the tiger enclosure.
Wang Jianluo, who is responsible for safety of the chairlifts and ropeway, told the zoo to shut the tigers away. He then climbed onto the protecting net and helped the man get down.
"When I was trying to save him on the net, he said to me that he 'didn't do a good somersault'. After hearing that, I don't know what to say with him," Wang said.
The 40-year-old thrill seeker was then interrogated by the police for disturbing public order.
He told the police that a thrill of excitement ran through him when he was passing above the tiger enclosure on chairlift, so he just jumped down.
