A Pennsylvania man has confessed to the brutal murder of a 19-year-old girl after she declined his marriage proposal. According to reports, the young girl, who has been identified as Tara Serino, was reported missing by her father earlier this month. He said he hadn’t heard from her for two days when she told him she was going out with her friend, Christopher Ryan Tucker, 34. Shortly after Serino’s father filed the report, Tucker was arrested in Illinois while trying to flee Pennsylvania. While in custody, the 34-year-old confessed to the murder of 19-year-old Serino. Tucker told police that he strangled her, mutilated her body, snapped her neck and then beat her with a hatchet. According to Trooper Beohm of the Pennsylvania State Police, “he asked her to marry him. When she said ‘no’ he just snapped.” Upon Tucker’s confession, officials were sent to his home, where they discovered Serino’s body.
